Public Transit in Boulder is centered around a bus system run by the Regional Transit District. There are many bus lines that run throughout Boulder, as well as to and from neighboring towns.

There is a common naming scheme for some of the more trafficked routes:

• Long Jump
• Bolt
• Dash

Incentive Programs

To encourage more riders, RTD offers incentive programs such as the EcoPass for employers, and the NECO Pass for neighborhoods looking to cut the costs of riding.
